🎲 Who we are
Mythoscript is a solo-developed D&D 5e companion app created and maintained by an independent developer based in Houston, Texas. The platform launched on November 29, 2025, as an ethical alternative to subscription-based character management tools.
This is a true indie project: one developer, working evenings and weekends alongside a full-time job, shipping updates every Saturday morning. Development follows a methodical "brick by brick" philosophy, with every feature tested at real D&D tables before release.
The creator, Kenny, is an active D&D player (currently running a chaotic Drunken Master Monk) and believes the best way to build D&D tools is to actively play D&D. Strategic guidance comes from Brandy, who keeps scope realistic and prevents feature creep.

A clean companion for D&D 5e that handles the math and mechanics so you can focus on the story. Characters, campaigns, encounters, inventory, and spells—plus a DM↔Player marketplace—aligned with RAW and tuned for real play.

🔒 Privacy promise
Mythoscript collects only what's necessary to run your campaigns and characters securely. Data is hosted primarily in the United States. Player data is private to players; DM data is private to DMs. We never sell or trade user data.

We aim for accessible, low-friction play: keyboard-friendly navigation, sensible contrast, and clear text. If something blocks you, tell us at support@mythoscript.app and we'll prioritize a fix.
🛡️ Security & responsible disclosure
Found a vulnerability? Please report it privately to support@mythoscript.app. We'll acknowledge receipt, investigate, and credit you (with permission) after a fix. Testing must avoid data exfiltration or service disruption—no unauthorized access or DoS.

You're welcome to share screenshots and talk about Mythoscript. Please don't imply endorsement, and avoid using our logo or name in a way that could confuse folks about who runs the project. For press or community kits, email support@mythoscript.app.
