These terms exist to protect everyone who uses Mythoscript — players, DMs, and the people the mission serves. They are written plainly because you deserve to understand what you're agreeing to.
Mythoscript is a Dungeons & Dragons companion platform for players and Dungeon Masters. It is a tool. It is not a therapy service, a crisis service, or a clinical platform.
The mission program — which provides free storytelling tables to vulnerable populations — operates under separate guidelines and is clearly distinguished from the general platform.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. Users under 18 should have parental awareness of their use of the platform.
You may not impersonate others, use the platform for illegal purposes, or attempt to disrupt or compromise the platform or other users' accounts.
The content you create on Mythoscript — character sheets, world lore, campaign notes, session chronicles — belongs to you. You retain full ownership.
By using Mythoscript, you grant us a limited license to store and display your content for the purpose of operating the platform. We do not claim ownership of your content and do not use it for any other purpose.
Character sheets are permanent by design. They are not deleted when subscriptions lapse or accounts go inactive. This is a core platform commitment.
In the event Mythoscript ceases operations, we will provide users with reasonable notice and the ability to export their data before shutdown.
Paid subscriptions are billed monthly or annually depending on your selection. You can cancel at any time — one click, no guilt screens, no dark patterns.
Cancelling stops future billing. Your account reverts to the Free tier. Your character sheets and data remain accessible.
Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. Contact us if you have a billing concern and a real person will respond.
Mythoscript includes an AI-powered DM assistant called The Wyrd, exclusive to the Mythos tier. The Wyrd is powered by Anthropic's Claude API.
When used, campaign context — including world lore, NPC names, faction names, and quest descriptions — is sent to Anthropic to generate responses. Secrets stored in World Lore and Faction records are never sent. Personal account information and player data are never sent.
By using The Wyrd, you consent to campaign context being processed by Anthropic for the sole purpose of generating DM assistance. Anthropic's privacy policy is available at anthropic.com/privacy.
Free tier users cannot access The Wyrd. Pro Tier users are limited.
Dungeon Masters participating in the mission program sign a binding Ethos and Code of Conduct. Violations — including attempting to counsel players, pursuing personal relationships with players, or ignoring a crisis situation — result in permanent removal from the program.
Mythoscript is not a therapy service. Mission program participants in crisis are directed to real support resources. The platform is a bridge, not a substitute for professional care.
Mythoscript is for playing D&D and building campaigns. Use it for that.
Do not use the platform to harass, threaten, or harm other users. Do not attempt to scrape, reverse-engineer, or exploit the platform. Do not use the platform to distribute illegal content.
Violations may result in account suspension or termination.
Mythoscript is provided in good faith. We make no guarantees about uptime, data retention beyond what is stated in our privacy policy, or specific outcomes from use of the platform.
Our liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding any claim.
We may update these terms as the platform grows. We will notify users of material changes with reasonable notice. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
